CONTRACT COLLABORATIONS SPECIALIST - 6 MONTHS

SALARY: Competitive Daily Rate
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Collaborations Specialist is responsible for envisioning, designing, building, and securing the end user technology products and services required by the business.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Deployment of a collaboration solution
- Ensuring engineered solutions are properly transitioned to operational teams
- Ensuring engineered solutions continue to meet the needs of the business
- Responsible for the end user technology products and services required by the business, including designing organization to fulfil responsibilities, hiring, training, and managing the team

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience in defining and deploying a next generation collaboration platform focused on enabling and facilitating assimilation and sharing of information and data within a large organisation
Experience designing and implementing collaborating tool sets, with proven business benefit realisation
Endpoint management and security solutions including antivirus, antimalware, personal Firewalls, NAC, etc (ex. Symantec endpoint protection)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, negotiation and customer service
Strong technical manager who thrives on their own initiative or working as part of a closely knit team
Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations
Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
Expert in innovative designing and implementing and embedding collaboration tools within a large organization
Technical knowledge of whiteboards, web conferencing, and Audio and Video Conferencing and other multimedia devices such as smart phones and mobile tablets, BYOD
Expert in collaboration tools such as MS SharePoint and Lync (including Instant Messenger and Presence)
