CONTRACT CLINICAL TRAINER - East Birmingham

Contractor Day Rate - 270 to 370
Hours 8am - 5pm (min 2 days p.w)
Element of work - home based

Capita Health and Wellbeing are looking to recruit a number of Clinical Trainers in the Birmingham area. Training is delivered in Birmingham, although an element of the work is home based.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will support the delivery of a clinically based learning and development service to underpin the recruitment and professional development of healthcare professionals seeking to become Disability Assessors. You will add value to the learning experience and support individuals through a flexible programme, to achieve positive results and business objectives.

Undertake the facilitation and delivery of approved training programmes to trainee Disability Assessors in a learner focused way. The training is to be delivered both face to face and remotely via telephone, WebEx, etc.

You will be a key contact providing support, advice and assistance to trainees during their training which will include considerable self-guided learning. This will also involve proactively managing a group of remote trainees ensuring they receive timely and accurate feedback and responses to activities and queries.

You will carry out the assessment of trainees' practical and written skills and learning, pertinent to the role of a disability assessor. You will also monitor individual trainee's progress and provide 1:1 coaching and support as required, both face to face and remotely.

Maintain accurate training records of learner assessments and achievements.

Support and assist in the design and delivery of additional learning interventions and CPD activities as required by the Head of Clinical Training.

Promote a professional business image and contribute to the achievement of team and operational targets

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Qualified Health Professional- Level 1

Ability to engage learners at every stage of the learning process using a variety of exercises and discussion to embed understanding

Maintains credibility by keeping up to date with new and revised practice and methodologies

A dynamic and engaging delivery style

Able to verbally convey new ideas

Able to review and evaluate written material and produce constructive written feedback on outcomes

IT literate - word and power-point

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Experience of delivering training programmes
Genuine interest in developing individuals to develop new skills
An understanding of assessment tools and their links to learning and development
