Contract Billing Accountant (temp)

BENEFITFOCUS IS SEEKING A CONTRACT BILLING ACCOUNTANT. THIS WILL START AS A TEMP POSITION THAT COULD LEAD INTO PERMANENT.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Review and understand software service contracts billing requirements and terms
- Load contract data into billing system
- Coordinate billing arrangements and requirements with new customers
- Resolve customer billing questions
- Update billing system for contract amendments and customer attributes
- Compare and analyze month to month billing changes
- Contribute to billing system automation and enhancements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- College or technical college degree in business, accounting or finance
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Familiarity with contract and billing application concepts
- Experience and ability to work as a team
- Strong communications skills both verbal and written and the ability to interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge.
- Proficient with accounting and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- The successful candidate will have an outgoing personality, ability to work in a fast-growing environment with ability to adapt to changes, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, and good organizational skills.
