Our Client a major player within the Media industry requires a Business Analyst Manager on a long term contractual basis (potentially 2 years) based in Central London, UK. Key Responsibilities: The Business Analyst manager is accountable for delivery of the all business analysis aspects of a major IS project to build a new advertising sales and trafficking system to support the clients sales business. Through the effective management of a team of between 5 - 15 business analysts, and the introduction and execution of effective processes and controls, the Business Analyst manager will translate the system blueprint into a catalogue of high quality software development requirements for delivery by a large offshore development team. Essential Requirements: The successful candidate must have: - A minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst working on enterprise software systems (in excess of 3000 fp). - A minimum of 3 years' experience leading a team of at least 5 business analysts. - Experience of introducing and maintaining templates, tooling, and processes capable of supporting an enterprise-level bespoke software development project. In addition, the candidate must be able to demonstrate proven ability to: - Get the best from a large team of business analysts from a variety of professional backgrounds. - Plan and deliver projects to convert a system vision into process flows and use-cases. - Introduce and enforce processes that ensure quality requirements are delivered in a timely fashion. - Use UML techniques to model data and entities. - Own the requirements management process, performing requirements verification to ensure that requirement statements are correct, complete, clear, consistent, concise, traceable, verifiable, current and conform to defined standards. - Manage and document any changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle. - Operate in both outsourced and in-house development models. - Establish highly effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. - Effectively understand and present complex ideas/proposals to technical and non-technical audiences. - Be a team player and quickly establish a productive working relationship with those around them. - Vendor Management Experience for offshore and onshore requirements and design. Desirable Requirements: - Prior experience sizing requirements using function points. - Experience working in advertising sales/broadcast media. - CFPP/CFPS Certification
