Contract AutoCAD Draughtsman Required for 3 months - Cumbria/Borders

This is an urgent contract requirement for a Draughtsman to join the test site of a huge international oil & gas consultancy for 3 months.

The consultancy are developing some new facilities and require a draughtsman to provide detailed 2D drawings from designs provided by the design team which will be used to manufacture the equipment and structures.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD (at least LT) is essential, ideally the full version of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of structural and mechanical drafting tecContract AutoCAD Draughtsman
- Ability to detail pipework, including, pressure vessels, valves, valve control mechanisms, support structures
- Ability to detail fabricated structures (large & small) including use of standard welding symbols and terms
- Ability to detail electrical controls systems and wiring diagrams including use of standard electrical symbols and terminology
- Ability to detail mechanical components including close tolerance components involving the use of geometric tolerance symbols etc
- Knowledge of standard components that are readily available to assist manufacture ie the knowledge and ability to detail designs which incorporate bought flanges, pipe ends, valves, seals etc. and avoid (where possible) bespoke manufacture of items for fabrication or installation into larger assemblies, unless directed otherwise.

This location is quite remote - it may suit someone based in the Carlisle/Newcastle area or someone who is will to stay away during the week (there are a number of B&Bs close by).
