Contract and Performance Manager

InciteBI are partnering with an NHS organisation who is urgently seeking a Contract and Performance Manager to work closely with the Deputy Head of Supplier Management within the Specialised Commissioning team. You will be responsible for contract and performance management across a portfolio of key acute providers.

You will be working as part of a small team to manage the contract negotiation process and monthly contract management activities involving the wider team of finance, informatics and programmes of care leads.

To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following essential skills and experience:

A strong background in managing acute contract negotiation processes and monthly contract management activities

You must have a detailed understanding of the NHS Standard Contract and associated guidance
-

Previous experience of Matrix working

The post holder must be able to demonstrate how contract performance and quality can be improved to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Excellent communication and internal stakeholder relationships skills will be required to develop existing professional relationship with providers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As well as needing to demonstrate a strong knowledge of NHS Standard & Acute Contracts to do the 'day job' you will also need to have credible discussions with C-Level clients around NHS contracts. It is important for them to have confidence in your ability as you will be working with some particularly challenging clients.

They will want the successful candidate to have direct commissioning experience, either having worked in a CSU or PCT previously.

You will need an in-depth understanding of commissioning and contract & performance management.
