Contract Advisor - Payments experience required

The role of the Contract Advisor is to deal with customer negotiations (where necessary in close co-operation with the Senior Contract Advisor and/or team Leader), to assist in solving legal and credit issues relating to Cash & Payments products, to take initiatives for document review, to review documents for new products, to do reporting.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS/RESPONSIBILITIES (KPA'S):

Manages customer negotiations in a professional and efficient way, where needed in case of a very complex negotiation in cooperation with a Senior Legal Advisor and/or team leader
Consults where necessary with Group Legal and/or Risk Management with regard to the risks of proposed solutions
Assists in solving legal and credit issues relating to Cash & Payments products in cooperation with Legal, Sales, Implementation Managers, Administration, PM and GRM.
Provides input for review of standard contract.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS COMPETENCIES:

Degree in Dutch or English law
Sepa knowledge
Good negotiating skills
Strategic analytical skills
Creative thinker
Extensive knowledge of the documents re all Cash & Payments products
Good presentation skills
Good knowledge & understanding of the Global transactional infrastructure
Extensive understanding of all Cash & Payments Products and Services
Computer literate (windows, e-mail, Internet, Word, PowerPoint)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE COMPETENCIES:

Extensive Transaction Banking experience
Extensive negotiating experience, must be able to carry the most complicated negotiations
Good experience with IT-tools
Good written & oral English
Additional languages advantageous
Presentation experience
Team player
Good network within the bank committing oneself to definite opinions; taking action)
Result orientation (continuously being after achieving concrete tangible results)
Customer orientation (identifying and being responsive to the needs and wishes of clients and customers).
Stress tolerance (continuing to perform effectively under time pressure and in the face of disappointment).
