Continuing Care Children's Nurse Specialist

We are looking for a Continuing Care Children's Nurse Specialist. You will provide clinical and operational leadership and management . You will support the development and maintenance of systems that will ensure effective performance reporting that will inform commissioning decisions.
You will be responsible for the overall monitoring of the clinical quality of care and service provision commissioned through contracted providers. You will be the lead specialist nurse in the development of a range of operational and commissioning pathways for children with complex health needs including palliative care and transitions. You should have a Registered Nurse qualification - qualified paediatric nurse with experience of complex paediatric nursing. You should of had exposure as a Registered sick children's nurse or learning disabilities nurse - degree level (and working towards masters) with extensive post registration experience at level band 6 or above, working with children with complex and life limiting illnesses. Evidence of management qualification/training.
