THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Content Operations or similar role required.
- Experience with RSS/Atom feed formats and XML specifications.
- Experience with content and metadata specifications from YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Xbox, Playstation, or iTunes
- Understanding of current and emerging video technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Aspera, FTP or related file transfer programs.
- Advocate for content syndication best practices for digital platforms
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- The Content Operations Coordinator will assist with content partner onboarding, delivery of assets and quality control for a high volume service.
- The Content Operations Coordinator will be the internal primary point of contact for all matters that relate to content status and availability.
- Assist with scaling the overall Content Operations process to ensure consistency in the workflow
- Some projects that the Content Operations Coordinator may work on are: New Partner onboarding including communication of video & image specifications, dissemination of support materials and tutorial of content management system.
- Report on delivery status and content library to keep the various stakeholders up to date on availability.
- Assist in content QC to identify assets falling outside of predetermined standards.
- Develop and advocate for CMS enhancements with product and engineering teams.
- Competitive research on the topic of content availability, windowing and syndication processes.
- Assist with content partner assessment including syndication readiness and volume.
- Weekly status reports on new partner onboarding and content availability.
- Content Ops onboarding checklist.
- Post mortem onboarding evaluation to determine areas of improvement.
- Update support documentation.

- Analytical Thinker: Approach problems in a logical fashion
- Able to multi-task: Manage multiple work streams
- Cross-functional interest: Desire to learn about various parts of a project (technology, marketing, competition, etc.)
- Effective communication skills and comfort in sharing unconventional ideas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
