Type: Contract- 6 months

Our client is seeking a Content Operations Associate for a 6 month contract in the Atlanta Perimeter area.  Our client's Web and Interactive Media team is looking for a dynamic individual to fill an ongoing contractor position within their Content Operations team. The position will be responsible for helping maintain Web sites across the client's family of brands as well as support new projects and initiatives such as our upcoming brand refresh of one of their most successful brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Content Support & Development for client's Brand refreshes, as well as updates and maintenance for internal/external site content
- Help to create and implement web content for brand sites and maintain brand standards across the organization
- Work with mobile team on page template and asset requirements in support of live site delivery
- Assist in CMS management and page content across internal websites, including managing requirements definition and researching new features
- Assist the Content Operations Manager and senior team members in developing best practices for live content authoring that is aligned with department strategies and goals
- Manage ongoing changes and updates to client's websites - including planning, documentation and communicating with key stakeholders
- Support Content Operations and increase existing knowledge of online production best practices within Web and Interactive Marketing (eg, increasing overall Web traffic and user experience metrics, etc.)
- Liaise with key business and technology teams (understanding our business and marketing goals) to ensure stylized, integrated, and aligned solutions are created
- Learn about existing strategy and practices and work to create efficiencies
- Assess the value to business and the role of Content Operations
- Assist in Content Operations Development from a strategy perspective including recommendations on best practices
- Document and communicate newly developed strategy and standards
- Role may also help with other web related program development and operational needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate should have background in online web content production utilizing Content Management Systems
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years' experience in an online production environment (preferably in marketing )
- Minimum of 1- 3 years' experience working with a CMS and content producing commercial (consumer), Extranet and Intranet websites
- Successful track record interfacing and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams (business and technology), with a proven ability to translate business needs in to polished Web and graphic design solutions
- Ability to produce accurate, clear and concise copy and back it up as the first line of QA with strong ideas on future improvements
- Knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great design sense
- A team-oriented work ethic and an ability to work collaboratively within a Matrix-style environment
- Experience providing creative and organizational support to keep everything running smoothly
- Ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate with limited supervision and drive to achieve results
- Exceptional organizational skills and a devotion to detail
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a customer support role with a wide spectrum of stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline-driven environment
