SENIOR CONTENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Newage Solutions is currently looking for Sr. Content Management Consultant. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an ongoing success of a growing team, responsible for content management and to support our clients. You should be able to understand and implement business requirements. You possess a strong understanding of enterprise applications architecture, web technologies/techniques (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Responsive Design), and content/technical architecture (XML, JSON) is required.

- Solve new problems independently using Internet resources, proactively educating you about the latest trends, techniques and tools in the web development industry are important.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for a variety of tasks to meet our clients' requirements, of which some are listed below:

- Create the information architecture and interaction design for transactional, informational and marketing user experiences including web and mobile applications
- Possess extensive design portfolios showing high proficiency in Adobe CS5 and other graphic programs
- Work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users to build a state-of-the-art WCMS systems and solutions.
- Develop and document detailed user experience specifications
- Have a keen grasp of human/computer interaction, industrial design, and psychology
- Understand the impact technologies such as XML, HTML, and CSS have on user experience
- Design efficient content models, security models, workflows and templates.
- Develop CQ5 templates and workflows leveraging current CQ5 software releases using JPS/.ASPX; CQ5 Components/widgets, J2EE skill set.
- Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
- Develop static and interactive prototypes for demonstration and evaluation of concepts to business owners or for validation with end-users
- Conduct end-user research, prototype testing, and usability testing

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following business and technical skills and knowledge:

- Experience and understanding of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JSON
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with XSLT and XML
- Experience with Adobe CQ5.5 application support or development experience
- Documentum 5.x and 6.x content management software, Web publisher ( Web technology) - Support/dev
- Architecting skill in Adobe CQ5, packaging, deployment best practice
- Needs to drive project work on his own with the customer.
- Programmer in Adobe CQ 5 / CQ6.
- Good Communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience. Proof / references may be requested as part of the hiring process.

- 3+ years of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience professional
- Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design processes and interaction design principles
- Proven experience producing meaningful and effective design artifacts for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
- Hands-on experience in a variety of design prototyping tools including Axure, Omnigraffle, Adobe CS, and/or iRise
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field from an accredited college or university
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
