Rate: £200 - £215 per day

Our London-based client is looking for an experienced Content Editor to join their fantastic team. You will develop effective, targeted online content across multi channel platforms.

You will be responsible for a continuous review and improvement cycle to ensure the delivery of high quality of digital content adapted for the relevant channel and audience type.

To decide what content should appear online and to be able to provide logic and rationale that supports these decisions. To influence the internal stakeholders of the benefits of providing high quality content to consistent standards.

To be able to interpret technical and complex business oriented content provided, from multiple sources both internally and externally, and write it to meet Crystal Mark standards (Plain English Campaign).

Key Accountabilities

- Editing, interpreting and writing new online content for a range of different channels to Crystal Mark standard
- Work with stakeholders, clients and suppliers to ensure new online content is appropriate to the target audience and is best placed within the site
- Ensuring that our client's core values, editorial style and brand guidelines are applied across aspects of online content including editorial, imagery and marketing materials
- Creating and enforcing a consistent tone of voice across the website

Knowledge

It is essential that you possess a substantial level of digital editorial experience, preferably gained in a large organisation, press environment or local government, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of web design and processes.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent industry experience, they should be experienced in working as a part of a creative team and be able to demonstrate their ability to deliver accurate copy within tight deadlines.
