Job Role - Online Design and Content Developer
Location - Bracknell
Duration - 3 months rolling

Our client, a reputable high street brand are looking for a talented Online Design and Content Developer to help assist them on building compelling and commercially creative customer facing interactive designs for all their websites.

* Are you a graduate with a portfolio and over 6 months experience?
* Are you an experienced Online Design and Content Developer with a portfolio to support your skill's?

A portfolio of your work will be needed at submission stage showing elements of your technical skills in previous roles.

Job Description

1. To develop and maintain the brand identities and style guides whilst working within a fast moving and changing digital world
2. To contribute to the successful delivery of the eCommerce design plan in a profitable manner, measuring interaction and conversion of designs using Web Analytics tools.

Essential Skills

Design Degree or Computer Science related field
Experience of designing for E-commerce.
Trained and proficient in applications: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & MS Office.
Expert in HTML5, CSS & JavaScript
Strong understanding of JQuery
Knowledge of web design for E-commerce, web processes and practices.
Understand how to optimise for browsers and related performance issues.
Experience with version control & Git.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of current SEO design practices.
Knowledge of design accessibility issues DDA compliance.
Experience using CMS.
Understanding of IBM WebSphere Commerce
Knowledge of Schema Markup & awareness of latest SEO updates
Experience with SASS & COMPASS/LESS
Knowledge in Dojo & Angular.js
Understanding of responsive design techniques and principles
