Customer Service Advisor - £18000 - Upavon, Wiltshire - Fixed Term Contract

Capita are recruiting a number of Contact Centre Agents to join the existing team based in the National Recruitment Centre in Upavon.

Staffed by military and civilian personnel, the National Recruitment Centre (NRC) at Upavon delivers the entire process for the attraction and recruitment of soldiers and officers to the Regular and Territorial Army.

The purpose of this role is to professionally handle enquiries from anyone interested in knowing more about careers in the Army. Enquiries will come from a number of sources (including: potential candidates, their families and careers advisors) and will be about a huge variety subjects.

Within this role you will be responsible for handling enquiries via the phone and over web-chat.

Responsibilities:

* Act as the first point of contact for all contacts
* Give an excellent impression of the Army and the Recruiting Group
* Qualify candidate needs
* Create candidate record (where appropriate) and enter data accurately
* Complete initial eligibility screening
* Provide advice and guidance to candidates and gate keepers
* Give an excellent impression of the Army and the RG
* Ensure enquiry is progressed in line with RG policy

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate experience working within a customer focused environment, have the ability to communicate openly, clearly and concisely, enjoy working within a team and demonstrate evidence of a can do attitude.

Please note: Successful candidates will be subject to several security checks. Candidates will be required to provide 3 years worth of work or personal references before they can be considered for security clearance.
