Consultant - Vbscript OR VB.NET Developer

Our client is looking to hire a mid-level Developer with VBScript and/or VB.NET programming experience to help extend the metadata capabilities of Sybase PowerDesigner by introducing some additional functionality within PowerDesigner.  This is project is 3 months' worth of work, however as our client's Data Quality architecture evolves there may be more requirements surfacing and this could lead to a longer contract.  In this position you will work with and under the guidance of a very experienced VB.NET/Sybase/PowerDesigner guy so lengthy experience is not a requirement.

Perform the development using VBScript.  Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in VBScript, but if not, experience in VB.NET  will suffice, as VBScript is subset of VB.NET.

Our client does not need a very experienced person, as we already have a very experienced PowerDesigner VBScript developer, who will be able to allocate 40% of his/her time to our program. The successful candidate will assist him.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 1-3 years of VBScript and/or VB.NET (as VBScript is subset of VB.NET).

OTHER DESIRABLE skills that would be a plus include: Understanding of the PowerDesigner metamodel: Experience using Visual Studio: Java
