Consultant (m/w) SAP IXOS

- The candidate is applying for a role in Application Lifecycle Management in a complex application landscape.
- This position is working for all Application Support and Development in an SAP / IXOS production environment, providing complex Application Lifecycle Services (mainly system development, system integration and Application Management) services.
- Based on his/her experience, the candidate supports the delivery team on certain pre/post-signature security questions.
- The major part of the role is related to consulting in the area of the usage of SAP in various system environments and business processes.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level Application Support
- Ongoing Design, Realization and Implementation of changes and extensions
- Customizing of various SAP-landscapes for different document types in order to utilize IXOS
- Support of the necessary SAP-Basis activities for IXOS-scenarios
- Support of the interface and technical SAP-setup for the usage of IXOS archiving
- Administration and monitoring of interfaces and jobs
- Proactive Maintenance and continuous improvement
- Identify risks and issues in the application landscape and proposal of solutions for mitigation or resolution
- Review of functional specifications with IT and business
- Creation of technical concepts
- Offer support concerning estimations and prerequisites to be met.
- Consulting support to project teams in the areas of SAP ERP, for upgrades and migrations
- Consulting support concerning architectural setup of the solutions
- Minimum 3 years experience in IT administration/archiving in the area of SAP
- Sound knowledge of the IXOS-related SAP customizing tasks
- Experience in the SAP-Basis activities concerning IXOS-based archiving
- Sound knowledge concerning the usage of DocuLink solutions in an SAP environment
- Knowledgeable about different SAP ERP document types and the processes related to them (e.g. customer orders, invoices, procurement orders)
- Basic knowledge concerning Windows XP, Windows 7
- Basic experience in working with Livelink Viewer (Browser)
- Basic experience concerning Livelink EnterpriseScan incl. Profile administration, Scan-Pipelines & Pipeline-Monitoring
- Knowledgeable about the usage of Livelink Desktoplink
- Basic experience concerning Pipelines incl. Pipeline-Administration & Pipeline-Error Analysis (asynchronous archiving interface, Apps/IXOS Archiv)
- Understanding of IXOS Administration Client (Setup of Scan Scenarios, Starting of Jobs etc.)
- Knowledge concerning German data retention and archiving rules
- Sound client relationship and communicational skills
- Consulting experience
- Experience in the creation and review of functional specifications
- Experience in the creation and review of technical specifications
- Ability to understand and judge user requirements in different business environments
- Sound understanding of IT infrastructure and architectural concepts
- Experience in SAP-IXOS-upgrades and migrations
- Working experience in the energies & utilities Sector would be ideal
- Experience in Application Management would be appreciated
