Consultant (m/w) SAP BI HR Application

- The candidate is applying for a role in Application Lifecycle Management in a complex application landscape.
- This position is working for all Application Support and Development in an SAP BI production environment, providing complex Application Lifecycle Services (system monitoring, system development, system maintenance, 3rd level support and conception and implementation of minor and major enhancements).
- For this position HR-skills are highly appreciated as source systems are HR-related and reporting is strongly connected to the needs of HR-Management.
- Candidate is expected to work in a self-managed mode with direct reporting to the respective BI-responsible.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level Application Support including all resolution activities
- SAP BI Administration and monitoring
- Active monitoring of interfaces, data loads and jobs
- Proactive Maintenance and continuous improvement
- Identify risks and issues in the application landscape and manage those appropriately
- Support the Offer-Order Process (sales process for enthancements) by requirements analysis, estimations and description of necessary prerequisites
- Creation of technical concepts
- Realization and implementation of new enhancements
- Frequent internal and customer communication to IT and business contacts
- Minimum BI experience of three years
- Knowledgeable about SAP HR and the related processes
- Knowledgeable about the specific reporting needs in the process area of HR
- Experience with the SAP BI 7.x and 3.x data flow (DTP, InfoPackage, Transformation, InfoSource)
- Technical Knowledge in Data Modeling (ETL)
- Experienced in BI-related report design and implementation
- Experienced in data loading
- Job Management related to BI
- ABAP Know-How
- Basic experience with BEx
- Basic experience with Transport Management
- Ideally also experienced about BO environments, conception and development (e.g. handling of universes and related reporting)
- Ideally background in the implementation of the SAP BPC (Netweaver V7.5)
- Ideally knowledgeable about advanced reporting based upon SAP BO (Xcelsius & BO Explorer
- Ideally knowledgeable about BI migration and upgrade concepts and works
- Strong self-management capabilities
- Experienced in BI-related conception and design works
- Knowledgeable reporting needs especiall related to HR
- Ideally knowledgeable about strategic personel planning
- Good client relationship management and communication skills
- Working experience in the Energy and Utilities sector would be appreciated
