CONSULTANT - HIV PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a HIV Program Specialist to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):-

Under the direction of the Senior Disease Coordinator HIV, the consultant works with the HIV team, directly with Country Teams and Regional Managers to:

- Provide support to the HIV team, country teams and partners in preparing the technical content of in-depth analysis/review reports of the HIV portfolio. This will include data analysis and presentation design.
- Work with HIV disease advisors, develop and monitor investments in HIV with a particular focus on five pillars of HIV prevention for selected priority countries.
- Support the review of the modular framework tool including collaborating with internal teams and alignment work with partners through the HIV Situation Room.
- Provide support to the HIV team, country teams and partners in preparing the technical content of HIV portfolio support sessions and review of portfolios for High Impact countries.
- Support meetings of non-High Impact countries as an important way for the Client to discuss technical, political and process challenges, including existing programs and new applications of HIV programs.

TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:

- Advanced university degree in public health, health management, epidemiology, international health or a relevant area
- Five or more years of experience in international work, including experience with public health, research, policy and technical support provision and management;
- Experience working with international teams and dealing in a culturally appropriate manner with a range of stakeholders, from high level government officials to community members;
- Good data management skills
- Excellent writing, analysis and presentation skills
- Good analytical and evaluation skills
- Fluent in both English and French
