CONSULTANCY IT APPLICATION HORIZON
Background:
Our client decided to implement the IT application Horizon in the IBM IT landscape in May 2013. Horizon has been developed within Depfa plc. and is is used in the Public Sector and Structured Products Asset Management teams in London, Dublin and New York.
The former Depfa team developed an analysing tool that fulfilled the needs of daily business as the existing IT landscape was not sufficient. Horizon has undergone an ongoing improving process and is an essential tool for the servicing asset management teams. It enables portfolio managers to do Real Time analysis on the portfolio and builds the basis to evaluate decisions. Furthermore it has been modified to fulfil our client's requirements.
Goals:
1) Further development of Horizon and supporting the business side to ensure that the requirements are implemented (Horizon is a tool to simulate and analyse market movements and how the serviced portfolio correlates)
2) Consulting and supporting the handover to IBM and implementing Horizon within the SG IT environment with IBM
3) Contact person for the business units and implementation/programming of new requests until Horizon is serviced by IBM
Requirements:
1) University degree or similar education
2) Experienced and specific know-how in programming and coding (in specific C#)
3) Experienced in implementing financial products/instruments in IT programmes
4) Experienced in developing analysing software for financial institutions
5) Solid know-how and experience in the area of public sector investments and structured products
6) Ability and willingness to travel from Dublin to other sites of the Company (eg London, Munich).
Start: 9.12
Project Duration: 6 months + extensions
