Construction Sourcer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Strategic Corporate & Professional Services Sourcing Development - Collaboratively develop construction sourcing solutions that help to leverage company scale in obtaining superior service at competitive pricing while ensuring Business Units and/or corporate stakeholders maintain their ability to execute initiatives within budget and on schedule. Apply industry knowledge to identify and understand construction pricing methods, profit margins, differentiators, supplier capabilities and industry trends that ultimately lead to business arrangements with preferred firms supported by the company's business units and stakeholders.
- Supplier Relationship Management - Establish and maintain strong business relationships with construction and engineering firms that provide service to the company. Responsible for supplier sourcing and relationship management within construction category. Identify, develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers using strategic sourcing best practices that meet established service and performance standards. Pre-qualify and on-going performance evaluation and relationship management of construction and engineering service providers. Identify and enhance commonality within the supply chain across bids and contracts. Develop a market focused approach to engage suppliers to meet business aspirations.
- Build and Maintain Stakeholder Linkages - Build and maintain collaborative working and team building relationships with internal Business Unit leaders.
- Manage Contract Compliance Programs - Ensure that suppliers are compliant to all contract terms and conditions. Accountable for supplier agreements and developing contingency plans to ensure construction and engineering critical supply needs are met.

SKILLS:

Must have Construction Sourcing or Law Experience
