Construction Manager

An engineering and construction client has an immediate need for a Construction Manager to perform management on a local military installation in the Annapolis, MD area. This is a 22 month CONTRACT position. Local candidates only, no per diem available. US citizenship required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate all communications between the contractor and government team
- Provide daily inspection and oversight of the contractor's work in accordance with government design drawings, specifications and criteria and national, state and local codes, regulations and authorities
- Process and route RFI's, Submittals, Monitoring contractor's schedule performance and develop scopes of work, estimates, and documents necessary to manage the change order process

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in a construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience)
- 5+ years of Construction Management experience
- Experience with Construction in a DoD or Federal Environment
- Joint Commissary / Grocery Store and Navy Exchange construction experience
