Construction Manager

IMMEDIATE NEED: for a Field Construction Manager to provide construction project management services, supporting owner activities on capital projects from concept through commissioning and qualification for this 6-12 month project assignment for a leading animal health provider in the NE Georgia area. Per diem and mob/de-mob will be provided to qualified candidates so APPLY NOW INTERVIEWS WILL BE SCHEDULED STARTING NEXT WEEK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working in the field utilizing blueprints, drawings and specifications to interpret assure contractors are installing the right materials and equipment
- Manage the in field coordination activities, sequences and progress of trades for all assigned projects
- Perform contract administration - working with GC in relation to specifications and performance requirements
- Close projects on schedule with completion of all deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

- 8+ years experience managing large construction projects Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. PLUS: Animal research facility project experience
- Strong organization, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with all MS OFFICE programs, Visio and MS Project
- PLUS: Experience with one or more of the following clinical research facility design features: HEPA filtered clean rooms, clean and dirty flow separation, HVAC controls, facility pressurization and directional air flows, related architectural finishes, general service and clean utilities, cage washers, and site work.
- PLUS: Experience with GMP compliance and related quality systems.
- PLUS: Knowledge of current editions of following references:- USDA Manual 242.1 - ARS Facilities Design Standards- CDC/NIH - Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Labs- NRC - Guide for the care and use of laboratory animals
