Construction Management

* Management of Construction labor contracts across all disciplines, coordination of the field activities and meet the requirements of contracts, specifications and technical and legal standards. This includes management of temporary facilities, logistics, materials marshalling processes, transports, installation and pre-assembly activities.
* Implementation of Construction Safety related plans according requirements, work processes and Life Critical Standards. Driving a zero-incident culture applying Construction Safety best practices.
Development and implementation of Quality Assurance / Quality Control plans. Final responsibility for meeting the specified Construction quality standards and requirements of the facility. Ensures appropriate involvement of experts and the final acceptance by authorities and notified bodies.
* Development of construction schedules that are integrated into the overall project and Turnaround schedule. Responsible for monitoring the schedules and controlling on the basis of installed quantities and productivity data.
* Monitoring and controlling of Construction Labor cost, including management of changes and additions.
* Managing the communication with the Construction companies and within the project organization; this includes in particular the regular look ahead and status reporting on a monthly basis.
* Continuous documentation of relevant project data, of decisions and events that impact the field activities. Immediate initiative to resolve conflicts, to prevent and to avoid claims.
* Upon mechanical completion of the new facility, ensuring proper turnover to operations according to the defined procedures and requirements.

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

Broad experience in Construction Management on projects in the petrochemical industry, preferably back ground electrical & instruments discipline.
Languages: English and French fluent.
