Construction Field Controls Lead Job

CONSTRUCTION FIELD CONTROLS LEAD needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PASADENA, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The (FCL) is responsible for developing and implementing cost and scheduling systems for field construction. This includes managing and coordinating major construction contractor's performance against agreed benchmarks in cost management, schedule analysis, variance management, invoicing, reporting and other control functions for the field construction.
- The FCL will conduct the construction cost and scheduling controls by monitoring, measuring, controlling and predicting the field construction cost and progress.
- Develop and implement project control/services execution strategies.
- Prepare site specific procedures for various construction project control activities including budget preparation, cost forecasts and related cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions.
- Ensure that the cost control and schedule systems are integrated and aligned through the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of ten (10) years of major project cost engineering experience with assignments of increasing responsibility, complexity and scope.
- Demonstrated technical competency in the field of project controls.
- Very good oral and written communication skills.
- Proven management and staff leadership skills.
- Demonstrable interpersonal, teambuilding and team leadership skills.
- Construction field experience and willingness to travel.
- Working knowledge of all relevant engineering & construction codes and standards.
- Experience with SAP a plus.
