Construction Engineer

A global provider of engineering, construction and operations services is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to perform modularity reviews of Build To Layout skid designs in the Cincinnati, OH, area. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred. The pay rates shown are estimates. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Investigate constructability issues for areas in building, site and utility designs
- Prepare for and participate in 90% review for Issue For Construction packages of platforms & mezzanines and Build To Layout skids
- Work with construction firm on proper sequencing of construction

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong construction or construction management background with an emphasis on modular construction approaches
- Good understanding of constructability in the building, site and utilities areas
- Experience working with vendors, preparing / reviewing Issue For Construction packages
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing
- Experience with specific project scheduling is a plus
