Construction Administrator Job

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Minneapolis, MN.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Senior Construction Disbursing Administrator
- Works with internal underwriters, lenders, project managers and owners to ensure timely and effective processing of the disbursement of construction draw for commercial construction projects located in various states.
- Reviews and analyzes construction draw documents as submitted for acceptability, such as:
- Pay applications/change orders
- Invoices
- Lien waivers
- Updated sworn construction statements
- Updated project balance statements
- Communicates to internal underwriters, lenders, project managers and owners issues and questions regarding the draw and draw documentation
- Processes payments required by each draw for selected files
- Determines which payments require lien waivers
- For selected files, may order title updates, notifies lender and owner of routine issues, such as mechanic's liens, and implements solutions
- Invoices for various services

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of three (3) years of construction paralegal or accounting experience with a construction lender, general contractor or subcontractor
- Effective processing of the disbursement of construction draw for commercial construction projects located in various states.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred
