Consolidation Manager – International Company - Geneva

THE CLIENT Our client is a dynamic, fast moving an entrepreneurial international group, having offices in different strategic places of the world and part of the top ten best performing Companies in its field. In order to lead the Corporate Consolidation within the accounting team, they are looking for a CONSOLIDATION MANAGER. THE ROLE You will report to the Global head of Accounting and your main duties will be: *Quarterly-monthly consolidation process *Group reporting of Groups Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet under IFRS standards (around 100 entities) *Internal quarterly+monthly Management reports+analysis and commentaries on the results *Contact with external auditors+preparation of audits *Deal with Group accounting policies *Reporting instructions and deadlines to local controlling & accounting teams *Interco transactions *Lead statutory to IFRS GAAP reporting differences and assess the implication for the Group *Ensure consolidation standards and data quality of submissions *Collaboration with country controllers/accounting teams and country management to build a strong functional reporting and control framework *Improve the existing consolidation and reporting systems and tools *AD HOC PROJECTS THE RELEVANT PROFILE *Accounting/Finance Diploma/Qualified accountant with experience in consolidation and in Big 4 (or similar) *IFRS/IAS norms knowledge + strong knowledge of SAP BCS consolidation module (or similar) *Stress resilient, ability to adapt quickly to unforeseen change and work demands *Delivery and results minded, problem solver and team player *Good communication skills, business oriented and ability to interact with all levels (internal clients, peers, Directors), including providing simplified financial information to non finance staff *Very good analytical skills and ability to respect deadlines, organized and multitasks minded *Fluent in English, French + any other language is a plus THE OFFER This professional, international and dynamic environment will help you to develop and to evolve within a passionate sector.
