CONNECTED VEHICLE SERVICES SPECIALIST HERNDON, VA 1 YEAR CONTRACT

The Connected Vehicle Services Specialist supports and coordinates activities related to the realization of new client vehicle connect services. The individual in this position also supports activities related to the development and implementation of the connect services roadmap, IT Back End integration, and services marketing.

KEY TASKS

Primary contact for assigned emerging connect services

Supports the interface for harmonization of plans related to:

- Service requirements definition and implementation
- IT/Finance processes related to the service
- Dealer/Customer Care processes
- Marketing and Communications activities

The role also supports the in-country Connected Vehicle lead with:

- Service offer and implementation process design
- Workshops with U.S. and Germany-based connect teams and key partners
- Interface with service/content providers and third party partners to collect information, negotiate terms, and implement decisions to realize the service(s)
- Synchronization of local activities related to service development and offering
- Support of test planning and service validation for new service releases during planning and operating stages as well as issue management coordination
- Digital Marketing and CRM coordination including content planning, development and Back End integration between services, vehicles, and vendors
- Support of collateral planning including brochures, POS, training, communications, etc.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in business, information technology or engineering
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in the automotive or services industry
- Experience with Connected Vehicle or Telematics Service planning and implementation
- Business and Process management experience and skills (includes IT, Finance, Dealer, Call Center, Marketing, etc.)
- Business requirements planning skills with experience managing projects involving multiple vendors, partners, and globally distributed Back End systems
- Ability to drive focus on priorities and coordinate with functional teams to plan and deliver flawless service launches
- Strong project management skills and experience launching new products and/or services
- Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally, cross-industry, cross-regionally between different departments, vendors, and between different cultures
- Strong understanding of business planning concepts for program decision making
- Robust understanding of IT, telecommunications, and in-vehicle technology as related to connected vehicle services
- Hands-on problem solving skills and the ability to bring conflicting viewpoints to resolution while maintaining strong working relationships
- Capable of independent judgment based on knowledge and experience while always maintaining alignment with key stakeholders
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
