We are looking for a

CONGRESS AND EVENT MANAGER (M/F)

freelance/temporary employment for a project in Zug.

Your Duties:

- Organise and execute the logistics of international congresses, internal events and global launch meetings (non-scientific, pre-congress, on-site and post-congress) for a client in the medical device industry
- Ensure that all congress and event activities reinforce the brand positioning and key messages
- Manage delivery of plans to stakeholders in agreed time, quality and cost parameters
- Negotiate contracts and sponsorship terms for the events with service providers and congress associations
- Coordinate the needs of the own affiliates, stakeholders and the sponsored partners
- Plan, develop and implement innovative congress and event strategies, monitor their success and take appropriate corrective action

Your Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in congress or associated events management fields
- Excellent organisational, project management and administration skills
- High-level understanding of MS Office, C-Vent and event app technologies
- Focus and demonstrated close attention to detail
- Strong communicator, fluency in English and German, additional language skills are beneficial
- Proven track record of ability to collaborate across teams and departments
- Ability and willingness to travel
