Currently we are seeking a Configuration Tech to perform the physical evaluation of field returned parts for various computer components and/or printers. Determines if the part is in working condition and has been returned complete and complies to the specification requirements, assembling and re-boxing the hardware to ensure the product is suitable for restock. Candidates must be able to lift 40 to 50lbs and stand at a work bench to perform job functions.
Additional job functions:
- Ensures that the work area is maintained in a neat and orderly manner to comply with company standards
- May require some lifting with assistance
- Prepares and maintains records of returned product
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required
- A+ CERTIFICATION REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS
- 1-2 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior product knowledge preferred
- Good problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
