A global information technology company seek an experienced Configuration Manager who ideally has technical knowledge of Rational Clearcase to support software configuration management (SCM) of source code and other software development assets.

As Configuration Manager you will be responsible for configuration management, process and terminology. You will also be responsible for change and release control management.

The key accountabilities for the Configuration Manager - Rational Clearcase skill set, are:

- Management of code base, documentation and configuration tasks from development through testing until production.
- Coordinate and schedule resources for performing releases to different development and test environments systems.
- Writing policy, standards and support and DR procedures for new and existing systems.
- An understanding of configuration tools in any technical context.
- Good understanding of Java development Unix platforms.
- An understanding of the process of developing products, delivery of technical services and multiple remote installations.
- A familiarity with software release tools.
- Managing support handover tasks, making sure the application support teams are fully equipped to support the systems.
