Configuration Manager, MS Team Foundation Server, TFS, Banking, Brusse

BACKGROUND:

My client is a Brussels based international bank; they are looking for a Configuration Manager to assist the tooling team in the implementation, maintenance and rollout of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to the development team at the bank.

TASKS:

- The installation/upgrade and configuration of TFS;
- Maintain adequate source code control and versioning processes;
- Maintain and improve the quality policies in TFS;
- Enhance the process template implementation;
- Customise the Build processes;
- Improve TFS security and privileges implementation in line with the bank's expectations;
- Maintain reporting, analysis and Sharepoint services for TFS;
- Provide 1st/2nd level support for development and testing;
- The migration of source code from Clearcase to TFS.

You will also assist in other activities performed within the distributed configuration management team, such as:
- Analysing build failures (primarily .Net, occasionally C++, Java, etc.);
- Maintenance of the virtual builder infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Team Foundation Server (experience in setting up Microsoft Team Foundation Server for a large user-base);
- Visual Studio;
- Notions of windows server and architecture (clustering, load balancing, etc);
- VB.NET, C#, T-SQL.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Knowledge or experience with different Source control/revision systems is a plus (Clearcase, SVN, etc.);
- Basic knowledge of UNIX commands and PERL programming;
- Knowledge of PowerShell.
