Configuration Manager - Automotive Embedded (f/m)

Permanent position with Nash direct GmbH / Harvey Nash Group
Duration: 12 Months with possible further extension of the contract period or transfer to a permanent position.

Your key tasks:

*Define a unified configuration management structure and coordinate the processes for projects connected to advanced driver assistance systems
*Track adherence and ensure timely delivery of artifacts from all stakeholders
*Document a strategy for the configuration management of the product including: stakeholders roles, responsibilities and tools; configuration items and naming conventions; handling of the access rights and of the baseline; methods for branching, merging and building baselines; exchange interfaces with customer CM-systems; organization of the Change Control Board, of the lifecycle of tickets and of multi-location requirements
*Ensure consistency and respect of the CM Strategy
*Ensure that CM tools support all SPICE process requirements
*Support CM tools: set up, configuration and access rights handling
*Support in setting up the environment for continuous integration, automation of the interfaces between CM system and Project Management plans/tools
*Train project team members on CM activities, rules and conventions
*Ensure that all stages of the V-model are properly managed

Your profile:

*Many years of experience as in the automotive sector, as embedded software expert with very good knowledge in particular of the programming language C
*Experience with end-to-end processes, standards and procedures of automotive embedded software development, in particular AUTOSAR, SPICE and V-Model
*Experience in the analysis of existing processes and current practices
*Expertise in the coordination of configuration management processes (documentation, coordination, optimization, improving of current practices)
*Experience with management of all kinds of artifacts, requests, baselines and their relation
*Experience with GIT is important (understanding of differences between distributed SCM tool mindset and methods compared to usual centralized SCM)
*Experience in CM of projects with reusable/platform/standard modules/librairies/cots
*Role model, excellent communicator, autonomous player, ability to coach people
