Configuration Manager

OUR CLIENT, IT SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IS LOOKING FOR A CONFIGURATION MANAGER FOR A 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO BE BASED IN LIVINGSTON.

This role is for a Configuration Manager to be responsible for managing the Livingston and Leeds teams, and eg escalations.

Key Deliverable:

- To review the existing process and to improve or replace for a robust process
- Responsible for liaising with technical resources
- To act as the gate keeper for all of the environments, production and non-production so that nothing goes into them without being approved
- Managing the team consisting of 7 people (6 in Livingston, 1 in Leeds)
- Escalations and day to day team management
- Asset and Software Management

Required Skills:

- Experience as a Configuration Manager
- Experience with asset and software management
- Experience in an IT outsource environment desirable
- Good management skills
- Solid communicator
