Configuration Management Engineer (Software)

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Engineer for a contract role with an internationally renowned defence company based in Essex.

This engineer will provide software configuration and data management solutions through the quality function, interfacing with the customer and responding to internal and external technical queries.

Required skills and experience:
Proven experience in Configuration Management
Experience and expertise in establishing, developing and implementing Configuration management procedures, including training for team members.
Ability to apply Configuration Management and Data Management principles in accordance with national, international and defence standards
A strong proven track record in engineering and/or defence environments is also desirable
