Configuration Management Consultant

Configuration Management Consultant urgently required to help structure the configuration management support to the sharepoint developers team. In addition, having a practical experience of developing sharepoint-based Front End solutions (the Back End being more traditional Mainframe technology) in a the financial industry sector (bank & insurance) is a definite advantage.

This includes:

- Practical experience with the sharepoint development environment and administration (Team Foundation Server)
- Familiarity with sharepoint components and architecture
- Ability to organize governance of sharepoint projects with focus on Configuration and Release management discipline
- Capability to structure and organize knowledge transfer to the employees in the configuration management team (identify training needs and make recommendations on an individual basis, provide coaching)
- Excellent team player with good leadership

This profile would be assigned to specific development projects and share his/her time between:

Estimated 80% of available time: the setup of the project environment, track progress as part of the project team (interface with the project manager, project architect and lead developer), automate build & deployment procedures, interface with the people managing the technical infrastructure, establish roll-out plans

Estimated 20% of time: establish standard guidelines applicable to similar projects, implement CM support practices and transfer knowledge
