Projektbeschreibung

Working on the M&IB Conduct Risk Programme to improve the global Markets and International Banking controls framework and the closure of identified M&IB risk issues. The role will work very closely with the M&IB businesses, Operational Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure optimisation of the controls assurance approach and processes. The role will also ensure that controls risk issues have been fully remediated from both a design and operational perspective.

Some of the key purpose's of the role:

Accountabilities:

- Provide direct support to the M&IB Conduct Risk Controls Project Manager in the delivery of controls management & testing activities, to include: control testing life cycle integration

Controls Assurance:

- Work with Procedures Development and Controls Decomposition Teams to identify and prioritise relevant controls to address weaknesses
- Develop, test and agree new controls as well as undertake amendments to existing controls and move to production environment
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a consistent and robust assurance approach for all M&IB businesses globally
- Document and scope any adhoc control issues and/or inconsistencies as identified. Agree actions plans and due dates with all stakeholders.

Issue Closure:

- Review defined issues to ensure the identified controls will sufficiently remediate the issue and that the success criteria for issue closure has been achieved
- Discuss with the business control design and operational testing including any remediation required for the control to be adequate and effective

Essential:

- Previous experience in Compliance, assurance, Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit & Control
- Previous Controls Testing experience
- Familiarity with process modelling, workshop facilitation and business analysis
- Excel - strong data manipulation and analytical skills
- Competent in Project Management methodologies and full project life cycle including documentation standards, risk modelling, change controls, quality frameworks and compliance
- Knowledge of:
- Banking, including products and terminology/ideally Front Office also.
- Regulatory risk
- Compliance
- Risk Management
- Compliance Testing
- Internal Audit processes and Operational Risk
- Previous experience as a regulator
