Condition Monitoring Operative x 9

I am looking to recruit a number of Condition Monitoring Operatives who will be required to travel to a large number of National Grid Gas sites (both manned and unmanned) and provide a visual inspection service on all assets.

You must have a sound mechanical knowledge within a pressure controlled environment and be educated to NVQ Level 3 in a Mechanical discipline, or have a time served apprenticeship. You must be able to read Engineering drawings to identify assets and their locations, as much of this work will be conducted alone and on un-manned sites. If you have VS02 or DSEAR this would put you at a distinct advantage.

Ideally you will also be SHEA Gas certified and have an understanding of National Grid Gas Network, but this is not mandatory. We would be looking for candidates from a strong Mechanical/Pipe Fitter background that are looking to move into something slightly different. The contract will be for 12 months, with a view to extend for a further 12.
