MY DUTIES:

-Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information and document technical specifications or requirements
-Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture and test computer system operations to ensure proper functioning
-Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems and provide technical support for software/hardware maintenance or use
-Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability and evaluate utility of software or hardware technologies
-Monitor system operation to detect potential problems and Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation
-Design and conduct hardware or software tests and test computer hardware performance and test software performance
-Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes and conduct research to gain information about products or processes and test computer system operations to ensure proper functioning
-Provide 3rd line technical support for End User Computer Team and work with vendors to resolve technical problems with computing equipment, mobile phones and software Support contacts at group level
-Displays a mastery of Windows 7, and 10, Microsoft system registry, Active Directory User, Group Policy, and hardware/software inventory tools
-Be capable of troubleshooting OS related issues and deployment of corporate OS image on end user’s machine, application packaging/configuration and management/scripting (Knowledge in SQL, VBScript and PowerShell) and IT Security (AV, Encryption, Firewall etc.)
-Liaise with vendors and service providers while representing the business (internal customer) interest

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Profound experience in Information Technology industry
-ITIL V3 Foundation knowledge as well as understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management best practices
-Profound experience in an IT environment with exposure and strong understanding of Infrastructure platforms and technologies
-Good understanding of infrastructure, network and security technologies and methodologies
-Understanding of the EUC systems and infrastructure platforms and of VDI, Application Virtualization, Cloud services and MDM platforms
-Fluency in French and English
-Experience in cross-functional, global teams which impact multiple business unit internationally
-Strong Interpersonal skills and conflict management skills
-Demonstrated ability to make significant decisions and recommendations on complex issues to achieve long-term results and strategic objectives
-Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users
-A continuous improvement, analytical and problem solving mind-set with an ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology, engage other members of IT and vendors as needed and critically think about alternative views to optimize decision making and standardize processes
