Compressed Air System Design Engineer Job

COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ERIE, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Commercial Air Compressors Design
- Mechanical Engineering
- Unigraphics
- Pipe Layout and Pipes Standard

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsibilities to include development of concept design, detailed design, and design analysis for assigned projects for compressed air subsystem.
- Ownership of stated technical/cost/reliability/performance requirements.
- Interactions will include engineering sub-system teams; systems engineering; product definition team; and locomotive field service teams.
- Complete design work and design analysis as required to meet design goals.
- Development of 3D concept models in Unigraphics NX software.
- Write drawing change orders and interface with product definition team for layouts, detail design, drawings and change implementation.
- Write test plans and test requests in support of assigned tasks
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Unigraphics NX software
- Experience designing compressed air systems
