Components Design Engineer

COMPONENT DESIGN, specifically development of media cores that are part of client deliverables for overall SOC and Core products. This client is a very high-visibility computer components manufacturing company seeking a Components Design Engineer for an excellent contract opportunity.

Main responsibilities will be logic validation work, functional coverage, code coverage, test vector generation, and Perl Scripting. Verilog coding might be needed as well

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2-4 years of hands-on experience with C/C++ and Scripting languages (Perl, etc.)
- Working experience with SDK (Eclipse, etc.), SystemC, and revision tools (git, svn, etc.)
- Familiarity with logic validation
- Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog
- Familiarity with logic validation tools
- Familiarity with functional coverage and code coverage
- Media decoding/encoding knowledge a plus
