Component Technician Job

COMPONENT TECHNICIANS are needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Performs technical/mechanical functions pertaining to the aircraft component overhaul process.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performs disassembly and cleaning of aircraft components according to customer's specifications, airworthiness directives, applicable manufacturers' CMM guidelines and UTAS operating procedures.
- Completes necessary related documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Performs final product preparation of units to be shipped.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Mechanical aptitude, ability to multitask, ability to read English and understand component maintenance manuals and all other applicable technical documents.
- Must be able to write descriptive statements concerning the condition of the assemblies being worked on, must be able to articulate and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Must have HS Diploma
- MUST have mechanical type experience as they will be working on large aircraft wheels and brakes (NOT electronic experience).
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying $13.00 per hour.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Shipping/Receiving Experience is a plus.
