We have a fantastic opportunity for a Component Supply Executive to join our Home Service & Supply Directorate on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. The position will require you to assist and monitor the smooth flow of components into the factories utilising existing methodology and routines under the supervision of the existing Component Supply Executive.

As a Component Supply Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

-Expediting Orders and RAG (Red Amber Green) Reporting
-Day to day contact with the Manufacturing Department regards production plans, along with contact with all three factories in China, Taiwan & Eastern Europe
-Responsibility for building relationships with each factory and gathering weekly reports detailing component intake status.
-Analysing the report content in detail and summarising exceptions into Management Reports.
-Working with other members of the Department to process non-conformant deliveries
-Progress RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) requests
-Completing GRN's (Goods Received Note)
-Generating Receipts onto Sky's commercial systems (using Ariba or IFS)
-Producing invoices on Sky's commercial systems (JDE)
-Reconciling GRN's -v- Invoices
-Sourcing samples as directed
-Managing the status of samples ordered/delivered

We would love you to have:

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills, specifically with key Stakeholders and External Suppliers
-A Procurement background is preferable
-Low level understanding of different types of electrical/mechanical components
-Meticulous in completing tasks to high standards and tight deadlines
-Well-developed interpersonal skills
-Flexible, reliable and a confident self-starter
-Taking the initiative and playing an active role
-Tenacious, confident self-starter
-Proven organisational, communication and presentation skills

Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30, 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility to meet business requirements.

Location: Brentwood, Essex, with frequent travel to other Sky sites.
