Component Engineer - obsolescence - Permanent - West Sussex I am recruiting for a Component Engineer with previous commercial experience of component engineering to manage electronic components in use and those being introduced in new designs. Requirements: * Qualification in Electronics * Component Engineering experience * Knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components * Ability to resolve component obsolescence * Sourcing alternative components * Abitlity to perform test and evaluation of components in new and existing designs * Excellent communication skills to work with the design teams This is a unique role which requires someone with good interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external customers/ suppliers.
