Compliance/Risk Coordinator - Broker

Experienced Risk and Compliance specialist with current working knowledge of UK Insurance Broking/Intermediary FCA regulation required for an initial 6 month contract.

Reporting into the MD of my client's business you will use your knowledge of current FCA Insurance Broking regulations to help support my client though a period of change whilst also assisting in strengthening and overseeing 2nd and 3rd line of defence.

This is very much a hands on role that also requires the ability to face off to senior executives and senior Operational Managers within the broking business.

Essential skills/experience:

*Experience of operating in the Risk, Compliance and Governance department of a UK regulated Broker/Intermediary organization (minimum 5 years)
*Proven track record of interfacing effectively with business colleagues at senior management level
*Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
*Broad knowledge of risk management and governance practices
*Broad knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
*Broad knowledge and use of the FCA Handbook - Principles, Rules and Guidelines
*Broad knowledge and understanding of insurance principles, products and services

It is an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.
