Compliance Officer - Zurich

For one of our clients in the financial sector in Zurich, we are searching for a COMPLIANCE OFFICER (contract until end of the year) who has experience in compliance and legal as well as background in Wealth, Asset and Investment Management area. The professional understand banking relevant regulations in Switzerland and the various business activities of a global bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

- Your main task would be the designing of relevant regulation and obligations in a meaningful way to the existing framework (policies, taxonomies and controls).
- Checking already mapped regulation and obligations against the existing framework (policies, controls and risk taxonomies ) in a meaningful way.
- Participation in meetings with relevant SMEs regarding the content mapped to the regulation/obligation.

IDEAL PROFILE

- Degree in law, economics or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years' experience in compliance, risk management, risk control or audit
- A wide understanding of rules and regulations affecting the financial industry, regulatory requirements and operational risk framework
- Analytic, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
- Result-oriented and assertive
- Fluent in English; in addition German, French or Italian is an asset
