Compliance Officer

Compliance Officer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University degree in Law, Economics, Finance or Accounting, alternatively Banking apprenticeship with 5+ years' working experience
- Background in regulatory aspects of advisory business or compliance/risk management
- Know-How of advisory related processes as well as regulatory/legal background and development in the area of suitability
- Understanding of suitability requirements, such as MiFID, CISA and FIDLEG
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Supporting global functional teamwork, including exchanging and reporting knowledge with local suitability subject matter experts
- Maintaining and updating the client education documents regarding financial instrument categories
- Providing 2nd line of defence controls for Switzerland with regard to suitability related topics
- Collaborating with legal and compliance in case of amended or new validations and suitability rules
- Assisting Pre- and Post Trade Validation rule engine for maintaining and coordinating in case of new rules implementation
