For our client, global banking company located in Zurich is looking for a COMPLIANCE OFFICER FOR A 3-MONTHS CONTRACT (EXTENSION POSSIBLE).
YOUR ROLE
Are you actively following regulatory developments affecting the financial industry? Are you interested in working global organization?
We are looking for someone like that who:
- Understands banking relevant regulation in Switzerland
- Understands the various business activities of a Universal Bank
- Has a flair for the operational risk framework of a Bank
- Is able to connect the dots in a meaningful manner
Your main task would be the mapping of relevant regulation and obligations in a meaningful way to the existing bank framework (taxonomies, policies and controls). Checking already mapped regulation and obligations against the existing bank framework (policies, controls and risk taxonomies) in a meaningful way. Participation in meetings with relevant SMEs regarding the content mapped to the regulation/obligation.
YOUR TEAM
You would be part of the Regulatory Development Tracking team in Zurich.
YOU HAVE
- A degree in law
- 3 years' experience in risk management, risk control, audit or compliance
- A wide understanding of rules and regulations affecting the financial industry
YOU ARE:
- Analytic, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
- Result-oriented and assertive (you don't shy away from challenging situations)
- Fluent in English
