Compliance Officer

My client is a Global Financial Organisation based in Edinburgh. I am supporting them with their open requirement for a Compliance Officer, for an initial 6 month contract.

They are looking for someone who has current or recent experience in financial services. The successful candidate will have a risk management or audit background. In addition to this, Familiarity with the UK regulatory environment is preferred, whilst Custody or CASS regulations experience is also preferable. For this role, an attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The candidate will also have general systems proficiency: Excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.

In the role, the successful candidate will assist and support the Compliance Manager in the execution, implementation and process management of the Regulatory Risk Oversight Plan and implement a comprehensive monitoring and surveillance plan.
