Compliance Manager - Public Sector

COMPLIANCE MANAGER

My Public Sector client is looking for a Compliance Manager for a 3 month initial contract based in Cardiff.

THE ROLE

The role ensures that grant-related checks on beneficiaries, also known as "primary checks", are carried out in line with the contractual requirements for the predecessor programmes.

The immediate job aims are to: carry out audit visits to higher education insitutues and youth organisations, carry out desk checks of supporting grant information and provide accurate reporting on primary checks for internal and external purposes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Demonstrable knowledge and skills in programme and project management
- Knowledge and skills in EU procurement and compliance laws
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship management skills
- Self-organisational skills
- Experience of procuring EU contracts and managing compliance;
- Experience of managing internal and external stakeholders relationships
- A track record of contributing to the development of external partnerships and business development opportunities
